Gregory B. Castelli, PharmD, BCPS, BC-ADM received the PharmD degree from Wilkes University and then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency, PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency, and Faculty Development Fellowship at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh. Following residency, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor at West Virginia University Schools of Pharmacy and Medicine where he established an ambulatory care practice site with the WVU Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Castelli joined the faculty at UPMC St. Margaret in 2016.
Dr. Castelli’s clinical practice is with family medicine inpatient service at UPMC St. Margaret and the UPMC St. Margaret Bloomfield-Garfield Family Health Center. His interests include evidence based medicine, management of diabetes, COPD, and women’s health and among other chronic conditions. He offers a pharmacotherapy elective for family medicine residents as well as rotational experience for pharmacy residents. Dr. Castelli is active in ACCP and STFM national organizations.
Dr. Castelli is married with one daughter and enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, geocaching, and hiking.
