Maria Osborne, PharmD, BCACP, CDE, clinical pharmacist in Family Practice, graduated with a doctor of pharmacy degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. She completed the University of Pittsburgh/Rite Aid Community Pharmacy Residency Program. Dr. Osborne is a clinical pharmacist within two UPMC St. Margaret Family Practice offices involved in the SCRIPT Project (Successful Collaborative Relationships to Improve Patient Care); a medical home research study being conducted in Pittsburgh. She provides individual medication therapy management, medication reconciliation post-hospital/ER discharge, and collaborates with physicians in overall patient and practice management. Dr. Osborne serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Education Foundation as well as the Allegheny County Pharmacists Association.
