Born and raised in Beckley, West Virginia. Obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Concord University in Athens, WV. Then, went on to obtain my medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. After medical school, completed Family Medicine residency at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. After a lifetime in WV, chose to branch out to Pittsburgh for fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine, but I will never forget the “Old Gold and Blue”! LET’S GOOOO MOUTAINEERS!!!

Interests/Hobbies outside of medicine include watching/participating in various sports, running races of various distances (5K up to marathon), fantasy sports, balloon twisting, and hiking.
