The UPMC St. Margaret Geriatric Fellowship is a 12-month ACGME-approved clinically-based geriatric training program. The program is designed to provide family medicine and internal medicine residency graduates with the unique clinical skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for delivering high-quality care to the growing geriatric population.

Family physicians are uniquely positioned to be able to care for women and their children and act as a liaison within their community and their health system to promote maternal/ child health. Graduates of the Family Medicine OB Fellowship would be uniquely suited to practice as faculty in a family medicine residency program or practice rural medicine or global health.
